Refund policy
Thirty days, for any reason
You may return anything within 30 days of delivery, for any reason or none.
Try a piece on as you would in a shop. We only ask that it comes back in a condition we could reasonably pass on to someone else — worn once and thought better of is fine, worn for a fortnight is not.
We pay the return postage. Write to contact@komorebi-goods.com with your order number and we send you a prepaid label.
Once it reaches us we refund the price and the standard delivery cost you paid, to the means of payment you used. Banks and card schemes usually take three to ten working days to show it.
This is a promise we choose to make rather than one the law imposes. That does not make it less binding: it is part of the offer you accepted when you ordered, and we will honour it.
If something is wrong with it
Separately from the 30 days above, you have rights that no store policy can take away. They differ by country, and the strongest one applies to you:
- Australia. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For a major failure you are entitled to a replacement or refund, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss. For a failure that does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have it fixed.
- New Zealand. The Consumer Guarantees Act applies in the same way.
- United States and Canada. Implied warranties of merchantability and fitness apply under state and provincial law.
If a piece arrives faulty, damaged, or is not what was described, write to us. We make it right at our cost, and we usually will not ask for it back. Do not send anything before writing.
Wrong item, or a print that is not right
Our mistake, our cost. Photograph it if you can and write to us. We reprint or refund — your choice — and you keep or discard the original as you prefer.
Cancelling before it ships
Everything is printed after you order, so there is a short window before production starts, usually about 24 hours. Write to us inside that window and we cancel and refund in full. After it, the piece exists, and the 30-day return above takes over.
